Lawrence Graham ranked as top legal adviser to AIM clients
International business law firm Lawrence Graham LLP ("LG") has been named as the top legal adviser to AIM clients in the latest Hemscott Advisers Rankings Guide.
It is the 11th consecutive time LG's Corporate team has led on its own when rankings are calculated by aggregate stock market capitalisation of clients. The team also tops the rankings as the law firm with the highest number of AIM clients in total.
Additionally, LG is the number one ranked law firm by stock market capitalisation and number of clients in the FTSE AIM 50 and FTSE AIM 100 tables. It is also listed as the top legal adviser to AIM clients in the Consumer Services, Financials and Utilities sectors by stock market capitalisation.
The publication states: "In sharp contrast to the overall market, there is only one winner among larger AIM companies as Lawrence Graham tops all four tables for the sixth consecutive quarter, in each case by a decent margin."
Tom Nicholls, LG Corporate partner specialising in capital markets, said: "We are delighted to consolidate our position at the top of the AIM rankings, not least as we have seen a couple of our clients move up from AIM onto the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.
"Whilst overall activity in the market remains patchy, certain sectors including mining and minerals, energy and oil and gas remain very active."
In November 2009, LG became the first single law firm to lead on all four tables for the first time since the Hemscott AIM Advisers Rankings Guides have been published.
LG is hosting its annual NOMAD conference in June.
